OK, thanks. I was lazy to pick the VIN up from my impala requested by the AC Delco website.

I look up parts there all the time. Never use a VIN.

they requested the VIN number, when I don't enter the VIN number they don't give me the result.

google "1996 Impala AC Delco Battery"....and the AC Delco site comes up and you just select year, brand, model, engine....click

you need a 78 series battery. several to chose from
