What Shifter do you prefer for your T56?
Kind of a pointless thread, but I'm just curious to see what shifters most prefer. I have a aftermarket "Hurst billet shifter" you know, the one with the bent handle like this one? Well I hate this thing. It's to bent and hits my legs when I drive! (I'm 6'5") and it feels very notchy like, almost clunky but not like anything mechanical is wrong. I'm unsure if this is just a hurst handle on the stock shifter or the real deal. But if so, I'm wandering is this just the bent handle feeling awkward to me, or the actual pivot ball piece of the shifter? Ive been looking for a WS6store short stick on the classifieds to see if maybe that fixes how awkward it feels. If not I'll switch to a different shifter but I want to know what's the best bang for buck, and if it's worth getting a shifter you can adjust the throw or just stick with a shorter handle. Let me know below!

Seriously, rubbery is the perfect word. It's got the strangest feeling to it I swear. im really keeping my eye on the MGW shifter tho...

I like my hurst billet plus especially the shift ****. Ball, t-handle and those effin weird cyborg ***** lookin ones pale in comparison. The bent lookin shifter messes with people at first trying to determine which gear you are in but that goes away quickly.

Are you talking about those teardrop style shift *****? I love those as well. The bent handle not only feels weird but hits my legs in my most comfortable driving position lol. Haven't driven to much though, maybe I'll like it when I get used to driving it regularly. Right now not so much!

Yeah I really like the looks of it. The price is great too! I had looked into a Hinson but 395$ for a street car... Ehh. The MGW should do just fine.

My brother has the MGW and while I liked the short throw, it's like 3" between gears, the short throw is still moving the same parts my B&M does, and you have less leverage to move them, so it takes more force in your hand. The B&M is about 7", and I like the feel of the B&M over the MGW, but I hear the pro 5.0 is awesome too.
