going undersize on bearing or going stock?
i had a bearing problem on #8 rod bearing and i have to go 0.20 on the crankshaft ... somebody told me it's a lot better to buy a stock crankshaft because they are stronger... what's your opinion ?
did they have a lot of difference ?

Many years ago with nitrite hardened cranks this was true, with our modern metals however, Stock is nodular iron, can be turned down alot before you weaken it significantly. The old way was to thicken the Babbitt on a stock steel insert but todays modern inset thickens the steel insert and uses a high speed alloy. You can turn a crank down .020-.030 with no ill effects on a stock or mild build.
