Default 96 Chevy Impala

Hey guys good afternoon..

I have a 96 Chevy Impala and I'm looking for a replacement exhaust manifold on the drivers side.. None of the parts places have a listing for it and it has been discontinued by GM..

My question is will an LS1 manifold off of a Camaro or Firebird fit my Impala or maybe even one off of a LQ motor like from a truck or something like that..

Any help y'all can provide me will be greatly appreciated.. I would like to really get this car fixed from the nasty exhaust leak that it has..

Thanks in advance

Albert

try the Impala forum. parts for sale. Fred Keil is a likely source
http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/index.php

or junk yard

of course headers are a option...

LSx exhaust manifold will not fit LT1

Buick Roadmaster or Cadillac Brougham from 94-97 should work.

From 94 to 96......no 1997 B- or D-bodies.

And still......from a salvage yard as that manifold is almost impossible to find, new.

Might be able to get it from a dealer.....but the cost would be ridiculous.

Clear Image, and Hooker used to make headers for these cars, if a cast iron manifold is impossible to find.....

Yea I already tried the dealer here down the street from my job and they told me it was discontinued..

I also got on summit racing website and they only have a listing for the passenger side but not drivers.. They do have a bunch of header options from BBK, Hedman, Flowmaster, and others.. Starting price is like 450.00 for the pair..

Also can y'all enlighten me on which vehicles is the B body and A body and D bodies are I'm a lisstle rust on that Lol.. I know G bodies are Monty Carlos and Regals right..

Default Manifolds

I have a set from a 96 caprice if you are interested. Good shape. Car spent its entire life in Tuscon and El Paso so no real rust. Shoot me a text at 915-422-2698 and I can send out picks. Also have the cats if you need them. No CEL was on when removed. Took off for headers and new cats.
