runb15 if you don't want an LS then do the 24x conversion. Have the ability to have it tuned anywhere and still retain the LT1. Best of both worlds.

If you have a laptop you can DL TunerPro to read the tunes. You can download EEHack from the member on here that made it for the ability to download and upload tunes to the car. You will need to buy a cable to connect as well.

$80 moates aldl cable, crappy old laptop, and some online freeware is all you need if you have a 94-95 computer. I use Tunerpro RT and CATS Winflash.

WTC13 - Contact Ed Wright at FastChips. He's the best LT1 tuner in the business. If you're willing to travel from NC to Oklahoma, he can put your car on a dyno for tuning. You're not going to get a proper tune on a supercharged LT1 using a mail tune.

We did the mail order the first time, just to get a base n it so it could idle, so we could let get to temp and add fluids, then took it to a shop to dyno tune it (mayhem), the shop kept giving him the run around and kept charging him money for the tuning they supposedly did, this place is 1.5 hours from home one way, and they made us come get the car once and take it home to fix a tiny oil leak in the pan, because he said he can't tune it if it has an oil leak, and his excuses continued after that. And they had the car for a total of 2 months.

9 hours worth of driving there and back (Raleigh NC) in a cummins trailering the car, and 300$ in on the 700$ tuning quote, plus the 250$ mail order that didn't help in the slightest, and the car runs a little worse than it did to begin with. Hence why wct13 is selling it tired of the bullshit and pissing away money.

Not a sponsor, so won't give the name, but there's a guy in Durham... some find him to be easy to work with, some have a different opinion. I've dealt with him and had a good experience. And he's been tuning LT1s a long time. I've never seen a car with big cubes and FI that he's done though. His site says he can do anything including the wild builds. YMMV. Maybe worth a phone call.

It's the first generation OBDII platform if I'm not mistaken. The PCM is a Commodor 64 compared to the next generation OBDII used for the LSx.
