Default 96 Z28 Factory tach stop working along with hard start

I have a 96 Z28. I've had a bunch of optisparks go out before. I'm leaning towards that, just curious if you guys have ever had this happen. I hopped on the freeway got on it pretty good, the car popped acted like it wanted to die the tach stopped working but then it cleared up ran fine for about 4 miles. I pulled off the freeway to see if I could figure out why the tach was not working. I shut the car off check everything out couldn't figure it out. I went to start the car took about 15 to 20 seconds of cranking for it to fire. drove it home about 10 miles shut it off went to turn it back on and same thing.

Signals from the PCM go to the tach, but the PCM needs the signals from the opti first. So, with the other symptoms, it seems like maybe the opti is going bad.
