Not a tech thread but figured it would be an interesting thread.

That clean! LOL. Mine is horrible. Lol. My tool box is the whole damn garage. I'll be cleaning it up tomorrow. My box is actually quite small for all the tools I have, which is why my whole garage is the tool box. Lol

My setup in a small 1 car garage (real PITA to work on the car). Everything has its place and is in its spot (5S style). Makes working on anything so much easier with everything organized. I can wheel everything around to clean or get things out of the way. The entire garage can be emptied in less than 10 minutes. Years ago, I used to have stuff everywhere and spent more time looking for crap than working on the car, etc.

You need to find a place for a beer fridge.

Thanks for the compliments. It does look nice and I get comments on it every time someone sees the setup. The wife and I did a lot of work to get it to look that clean and organized.

Below is what it looked like before. It was actually a lot worse looking as the previous owner had all these homemade mismatched shelves everywhere---it was bad. I wish I would have taken a true before pic before I started any work but I just kind of started to remove shelves and it snowballed from there.

Most garages either ARE a work in progress, or HOUSE a work in progress....

I'll have to get pictures soon. Recently bought the house and haven't spent much time in the garage.

No ****. Just had to have the tile redone in our kitchen and entry ways. Found out some real window lickers laid it down and actually covered up a heat vent in the floor next to the front door. All the tile started floating a month after we bought the house.

Default My 2nd lady's housekeeper

Yeah I want to get back onto the forum and post some.. I seen this thread and figured I'd start here.

It's a Snap On that was a repo and I got a great deal on it with tools in it.. I love this box and the tools in it. None of those are permanent vinyls, I put them on magnetic vinyl backing. Note the beer fridge next to it!

Not much of a mechanics garage, but it gets the job done.
