Default 385 Lt1 Stroker F/S Must See!!!

I am selling the engine from Dave Ducote's 1994 Firebird Formula/Trans-AM. It was the Fastest injected Lt1 in the country. This car was full weighted and was never gutted. This car was on the cover of GM High Tech performance. It made aver 1100 rwhp with a D1 procharger. It ran a 9.18 in the 1/4 and im sorry but i dont remember the mph. Paterson automotive built the engine and Mike Sovie did the heads. The engine is a 385 lt4 stroker with AFR heads. It comes with callies crank, oliver rods, wiesco fully coated pistons, fully race ported afr heads, ported lt4 intake, 62mm throttle body and custom 3 step headers. DFI kit and laptop, 96lb injectors. Engine plates, canton 7qt oil pan. callies billit splayed maincaps. Custom morosso sheet metal valve covers. Jessel shaft mount rockers. Accell injector controller. 2 extra oliver rods.. extra bearings.. all brand new as well.

The engine was rebuilt with all new parts about 2 years... ago by patterson automotive. Dave Ducote's father was with Enron when it went under and didnt have the money to continue racing. I picked up the motor and have yet to use it. It is still moist with oil and have never been in a car. I turn the motor over by hand about once a month. It sits in my shop on the engine stand. I would rather see it get used than let it sit here any more.
Madman did alot of work on the car.. so im sure you could get more specific specs from him. Since i am missing slot of specific information i wont be asking alot, but i am firm on the price right now. $5000.00
Here is a larger lists of pics... more pics of the engine in the car are at madmans website.

Unless that is a typo, $5,000 for what you showed pictures of is possibly the best deal I have ever seen. The parts alone likely cost in the 7-10k+ range. I spent WAY more than $5k on my nitrous buildup and it doesn't have half the parts quality (AFR, DFI, LT4 etc) of your motor.

I wish I was building a FI motor and just about to step up to a built motor.

That is an amazing deal as far as price and time saved, good luck with the sale.

Well its not a typo and its a 100% real deal. This motor does have thousands and thousands of dollars in it. I picked it up for cheap because of the situation and i'm just trying to get my money back. I had hoped that i would be able to come up with the money to use it, but its seems like it would be a while. I dont want the motor to go to waist and i just want the money back that i paid for it. I knew dave ducote and so he gave me the first chance to buy the engine. What you see it exactly what you get... no less. If someone feels bad ans wants to pay more for it.. then i want stop them..lol

I can vouch that Dave knew the meaning of spare no expense when it came to that hot rod. That motor is a steal and I have had naughty thoughts all weekend since you posted it for sale

I really want to buy this engine, but I am just so hesitant to buy something for this much sight unseen, can anyone vouch that this is a real deal? There really is no way for me to go physically see the engine, since I live in Washington, could anyone recommend a mechanic or someone in that area to "check" the engine out. I mean no disrepect to the seller, who I have talked to and seems like an honest guy, but I am just trying to be cautious about internet purchases (I'm a little paranoid). Thanks...

sale ... pending. Maybe this will make you feel more at ease.. You can check my posting and see that i have bought and sold multiple things here on this sight. More importantly you can check my ebay rating. I have sold to about 300 people and and a rating of 99.5%. Everyone has left possitive feedback with the exception of 1 person, who wasn't to bright. my ebay name is electrosupply which was changed from leeluther252. I have sold car parts as well as cable products. Im verifed as well
