Vacuum leak?
I am still trying to figure out what is making my engine run so rich. I thought it was the cracked exhaust manifold throwing off the right bank O2, but I replaced the manifold and nothing is better. Could a vacuum leak cause the engine to run rich somehow? Also my idle is kinda unsteady sometimes so that would also point to a vacuum leak wouldnt it? It is not a smooth idle, it sounds like I have a mild cam in but it is stock, everything is stock except for the exhaust. I am trying to pass emissions but I dont much money, Thanks.

if you fixed the manifold leak you will still need to reset the adaptives. Other wise it will take time for the PCM to relearn the new long term fuel stratagy. You can give that a try.

I thought unplugging the neg. terminal on the battery for more than ten seconds resets the adaptives? If I am wrong how do you do that? I have a 93 so I cant reflash or anything, that is the only thing that I do not like about 93s.
