Default Smog pump?

I was wondering if my 94 Z28 A4 had a smog pump or anything similiar. If so, is it worth getting rid of? Also, will I notice any kind of difference doing this? In power, or my car running poorly?

Thanks

yeah, it has an AIR pump. no power to be gained from taking it off. lots of people do it though. the only reason i did was because my headers did not have emissions fittings. i'm getting a new set of headers and debating getting all the emissions fittings.

If you're running no cat, or gutted cat, it's pointless to have an AIR pump.

That's one reason to remove it. Another reason is if you want to clean up your engine bay a little.

Is it heavy at all?

Also, if someone is selling some Lt headers let me know. I think someone that just posted said they might be getting some new ones. I'm looking, so if anyone has seen any for a good deal, let me know. Thanks
