I'm thinking of getting a true-dual exhaust system for my car. It has Kook's longtubes with an ORY and flowmaster muffler with cutout. Cutout sounds too raspy like a redneck farm truck, while the flowmaster is too quiet and not agressive. Opinions on the sounds? I have heard bullets, and they sound great for the price. Maybe a little raspy, but with no cats that can be expected. I have not heard XR-1's before on a True-Dual LT1 setup..how do they sound? Does the sound for the XR-1's justify the price?

Your going to have problems with clearance on the Xr1s. Im going with sweet thunders, i hear they sound way louder and clean then bullets, and theres probly no prob with clearance. Here man check em out www.sweet-thunder.com

ditto..XR1 sounds great but will give more GC probs than bullets or STs......it can be dome, don't get the wrong impression, but they will be much lower.

I have hooker longtubes, 3in H pipe and the XR-1's on my car sounds really good better then bullets. There not raspy they have a real smooth sound to them.
