Default Cooling fan trouble

I've got a 94 Z28 and im having a problem with my car overheating at idle. The problem is the cooling fans are not comming on. I've replaced the thermostat and the ECT sensor and I still have the problem. I've checked the fan motors and the relays they all seem to be working. The fans do come on when I turn on the AC so im at a loss. Anyone got any idea what else to check for?

stock fans dont turn on untill 226.... either make a manual fan switch or have your PCM reprogramed to turn on the fans sooner

226 low speed and 235 high speed is the stock fan on temps. Yes it's very high. If your SURE that the temp is going past that without fan operation you can run some tests. Otherwise it sounds like normal operation and your just getting near the red line on the temp gauge.

Thanks for the input. Thats crazy if its gotta get that hot before the fans come on. I'll just add a couple of switches until I can buy a programmer.
