Default Best Stall Converter?

Just need to kno what are some of the best companies to go with for a good torque converter. Looking to go with a 3000 or 3200 stall in my 95 383 camaro.

I am nothing but happy with my Edge 2800, drives great and cool works very well at the track. I picked up .8 BUT that also included stepping down to 87 octane programming and it is only fair to say I had the mild cam already which is I believe why it was such a huge gain.

Mild enough for the wife to pickup Grandma for dinner or tow a light boat too.

I don't think anyone knowledgable will have a bad thing to say about Yank.. The worst thing I would say is the billet cover which is the source of most of the additional cost is overkill for 90% of us.

You want lockup. The stocker is and allows the converter to "lockup" at cruise for zero slippage. There is basically a hydraulicly applied clutch inside that is selectively applied this is controlled by the pcm.

This is one reason new cars can be so fast but still streetable, you tell someone with an old musclecar you have a 3000stall and they think race only. Todays converters drive better and then the lockup makes them a complete nonissue at cruise speeds for perfect comfort and milage.
