LS1/LT1 ram air
is it worth it to do a LS1 ram air intake conversion on a LT1 i dont have ram air but i am getting a new hood that will be able to use ram air.... what all would be invovled to do the conversion also

well im getting the hood regardless i was just curious if any advantages from LT1/LS1 cause i can get either pretty cheap couple of guys around here have spares sitting around

I too have the same question. I have a 96 T/A with a suncoast creations ram air hood, but I have the K&N CAI that goes down the the wheel well. But the filter gets dirty real quick and in the rain water gets up there. Don't mean to hijack this thread or nothing. Just same question.

lol thats the car on my desktop i found it online and made this for some of the guys on a different forums im on.... hes not blown is he lol

actually it aint to bad got to ride in a car that had it wasnt that bad... i mean with the hood of my car right now(stock) you cant even see it when your sitting in the car

Put the money into SFC, driveshaft loop, LCA, or better yet for the price of ram air kit you can get an adjustable torque arm which will help your car hook tremendously. I can think of bunch of stuff I could get with the money saved from the ram air kit.

yeah well see all that upgraded suspension wont help me that much since ill still be mostly stock.... and for the price of less than even one of those things you mentioned i can get the ram air
