Default input shaft advice

im trying to get this input shaft to go into the back of the motor its into the pressure plate i just can't get the splined shaft into the clutch i lined it up with the dummy shaft before i tightend the pressure plate. i rotated the motor to try to line it up and just can't get it to work.

any suggestions or help would be appreciated

I do a few of thiese a week. I have found using a real shaft AND my fingers around the edges to make the job alot easier.

look for the clutch alignment tool that came with your clutch.

I couldn't find mine when I was putting in my engine and tranny so I just lined them up out of the car...But Im assuming your engine is already back in.

Ended up dropping the damn tranny !

and dropped it in the way i was told can't be done!

it was a bitch but she is in and electrical is getting finished marrow and maybe adjusting some rockers marrow evening.
