Some thoughts on what mycombo might make
Well, the time has come to go stroker. Here is a list of the parts for the 381. I am going to be using my current LE2 heads along with the motor, 1.6 Promag RR's, Comp R lifters, 977 springs, BBK 58 mm TB, pacesetter LT's, 30lb SVO's.....
Here is a list of the parts
--Fully machined block
--4bolt splayed caps
--align bore/hone
--bore/hone .020 with torque plate
--balanced internally
--Decked to .005
--core plugs/oil passage flush/cam bearings
-Eagle 4340 3.75" Crank ground .010 on rods/mains to straight
-Eagle Hbeam 4340 6" rods w/ARP L19 bolts
-SRP forged pistons 16cc dish (~11.00:1 SCR)
-JE plasma moly coated ductile iron rings
-Clevite H bearings
-ARP main studs
-Eagle billet steel middle caps/Program front cap
-Joe overton ground cam 24X/25X @50 .55X/.5XX
-Rollmaster billet timing set
-Milodon Oil Pan
-CSR Electric WP
I am hoping to be in the mid 400's rwhp. I hit 383rwhp with my stock bottom end along with a cc306 and my LE2 heads on a 10.1 AF (really rich, nice fouled plugs ) I am going to keep it NA for the summer to break the motor in and next year spray to 150 shot or maybe even step up to 200 or 250 to see what she has. I have a feeling I am going to need a new rearend by then
Let me know what you guys think, it should hopefully be done in the next few weeks I am so excited, cannot wait!
