What should oil pressure be?

What should oil pressure be? I have an SES light on right now and was looking at the oil pressure...
when at idle the pressure is about 18
when cruising its at about 33
I just checked the oil and i need to add some, so i will just do an oil change. let me know what you think about the pressure numbers and if they are off

I have not changed the oil yet because the oil light is not on, but i turn on the car and light is not on, but after 1 minute it comes on and 10 seconds later the fans kick on. The temp on the car is about 195 - 200 so why are they fans coming on, dont they come on at around 220?!?!?!
