Default 95 opti on a 94?

will a vented pin drive optispark for a 1995+lt1 camaro work on a 94 lt1 camaro? i may have to buy one soon and i would like to get the better one if possible, anyone done this upgrade?

It is not as simple as pull the non vented and bolt in the vented opti. You will need a 95 up front cover, opti harness, and other assorted parts.

I just did this and finished about 3am last night. You will need the 95 front cover, vented opti, 95 opti harness, vaccuum vent hose, and a 95 and newer camshaft or an aftermarket one. The center hole on the 94 is smaller then the one on the 95+ camshaft. works great though. I have been driving it all day without a problem.
