Default Need Advice- Motor ticking on throttle

its a 95 LT1 and on throttle i get a constant ticking coming from the driver side under the hood. it only does it when under throttle. not during idle.

just a constant tktktktktktktktktktkt and when i let off the gas it stops

any idea's on what it could be. lifter??...or any common problems like this?

Is it Normal on all Lt1's??

the car has a good list of mod's done and has 67k on the car. has an lt4 knock module...i dunno if that has anything to do with it. i will answre any questions you might have if it will help lead to a conclusion

im gonna get it checked out tomorrow probably but i wanted to get some advise from the experts in here first. thanks

sometimes i think i hear my speedo ticking. Like something is rattling in it. I have just gotten used to it so, if it is a valve you should be able to hear it pretty good with your head under the hood.

if it is only under a load it is most likely an exhaust leak

Sounds like an exhaust leak, or a lifter tick.

i checked the exhaust manifold bolts adn they seemed tight. so i took it to my dads friends shop n he diagnosed it being the forged pistons. not quite piston slap, just a little room to keep friction down on a built motor. when its cold its much noisier but the pistons expand has it heats and quiets down. i didnt check for a crack in the manifold but headers are on the way, so if that is the reason it will soon be fixed. thanks for all the answers guys

And here I was going to say it could be the AIR system check valves, or even injectors, I know at idle my injectors make a ticking noise.
