Default My LT4 ain't right

Ok, I've been running my LT4 kit for a while, with full boltons and i love the power it makes, but whenever i rev it up to redline in 1st gear or 2nd gear, the rpm's will quickly shoot up to around 5500 and then kinda bumble around there, i feel like i'm not getting all of what the engine is capable of. What do you think it could be? Am I maxing out my injectors? I'm kinda stuck, thanks

how good is the computer tune....that rpm range is where a bad tune will really show up....that would be my guess.

Log it and see if the injectors are maxing out. BTW I ran the stock injectors for a long time with the LT4 stuff and later went to the SVO 24s, dont think much changed. Short blast over 85% is OK, I would not do that if I was road racing or something but short stop lights and 1/4mile runs it is OK.

Check all the plug wires and make sure they have not been laying on a heat source ie header.
