Default ls1 driveshaft

I can get a ls1 driveshaft cheap from a friend, would it be worth to install on my car?? would I notice a difference?

I was always told it's only worth it if you need it like if youre getting vibrations etc. If you can get it cheap I say why not.

If I could snag one cheap, I would. It will look alot better then that old rusted steel piece sitting under there.

Do the Ls1's have the dampener with the front yoke like the lt1's do. I went the ls1 shaft route on mine and I have a bit of a vibration. BUT it does not have the dampener like the lt1 auto could it possibley have been out of a stick. I got it from a yard and it fit so I suumed it was correct. I don't mean to take away from your thread.

I got an LS1 aluminum unit for free, so I put it on my 94Z.

Well, it came off my '98 when I put the Denny's Driveshaft on it... so technically it was free...
