OKay first off do not bold or put your text in huge letters!!! Second sell your car and buy a v8. By the time u do the swap right(meaning engine, tranny, rear end, and suspension) you will have so much money wrapped up in it, it wont even be funny. But if you must here are some Links:

well if you can do the work yourself it wont be extremely bad. Main thing you can gain is the insurance difference. If you cant do it yourself and are older than 25 or even 21, then just buy the V8 car

Its not that bad of a project, as long as you get all the parts required such as engine Harness's, pcm, and Kmember etc.
The Insurance is a big benefit too in the long run, Like my car was originally a V6 car but will have a BBC in it Before to long, lol

i mean its more involved than just slapping the motor in there and tightening some bolts..i would hate for someone to get overtaken on this project and not be expecting the full amount of work it takes to complete..not like an old 350 swap in a chevy...

IVE done this swap about 5 times now both lt1 to ls1
and v6 to ls1
but if u dont have a shop of tools its gonna be kinda hard
easiest to use PA kmember and modified t56 xmember
but if u are using a lt1
it would prolly be easier to buy lt1 car
i got 1 that is a a4 hardtop 95 lt1 bone stock
and v6 to ls1

I did the v6 to lt1 swap to start out with. What I did was bought a wrecked 97 for about 1500, the shell was crap, but I was able to use alot of the interior and engine. I just basically gutted out the v6, gutted out the lt1, put everything I could in the v6. I eventually went with the complete rebuild of the car, but that's where it started. My car was a 95 v6, so according to the insurance, it still is. Insurance is rediculously cheap. My car also had sentimental value. It only took about 2 weeks to do. I used everything from the 97 dash, to the rearend. I swapped EVERYTHING!

Ummm........Yes. Not gonna lie. I had a lot of help doing it. ONe person, to do that, it's not going to be easy. Alot of labor. Difficulty mechanically, not hard, but labor was a bitch.

Rather than going through all of the trouble of swapping to a V8, why not just turbocharge your car? You'll have the sleeper aspect, plus your weight distribution will be closer to 50/50 than V8 cars since you have a lighter front end. That helps with traction and handling. Just get some decent internals and run monster boost.
