Default When you floor it...

Does it kinda pause then go? My car (when in motion) will pause then run like a raped ape. What is the reason for this?

Put a vaccum modulator in the tranny and that delay will be gone

Your transmission is downshifting when you slam it from a roll. And when it goes slower like what your talking about, i hear thats because of line pressure.

or it could be throttle postion sensor(TPS). what it actually does is it reads off an electric signal and depending on what how your on the throttle it tells the computer what to do. so when you floor it there is somewhat of a delay between the sensor reading your normal speed to WOT. if you look on the internet you can find some info on how to correct this mod but i think you can do it when you have your car tuned they can correct for it.

The tranny has to downshift so I think that pause will always be there!

My car does this too, but mine is a 6 speed. If I feather out the clutch and bury the gas, it hesitates. If I rev it up a bit first, then feather out the clutch, it screams with no hesitation
