just wanting to see how many people have put a carb on their lt1 and what intake was used and all other parts i am thinking of doing the swap but not for sure and if not to much trouble any way you could post some pics also if how did it react and run with the carb

Embrace the injection you WILL end up with a better performing more drivable car. Carbing an LT1 is for those too ignorant an lazy to LEARN.

I agree with 96capricemgr, you'll have better efficiency and performace gains with a modified or bolt-on LT1 staying with the fuel injection system, rather than converting to a carbureted set up.

On the other board several guys who spent all kinds of money converting to a carb SWITCHED BACK.
Injection is not the barrier to performance most old school guys want to believe it is. The cylinder to cylinder fueling is better the spark timing infinetely more adjustable, it adapts to changing weather FAR better than a carb and the list goes on. Hell if you give it a chance it can give you most of the info you need to fine tune it.

i have been doing tune and have the car running well and i am impeseed and pleesed with its perfomance and i have argued points against carbs myself i love the fuel injection just trying to see who has done it and how they liked it for drag i know it would be cheaper to carb and run a sinle plane than to go single plane and injected later when i build the goood motor what intake are you running
