Default Airflow Research "Eliminator" Heads

It looks like they're attempting to take a swing at Gen III stuff with these. The first link talks about how these are a "complete redesign." What I'm curious to know is how much room for improvement there is in the hands of a skilled porter. Flow #'s aren't everything, but those low lift #'s aren't anything to sneeze at:

Anybody know if these are actually available yet, or seen any tests done on them?

I'm pretty sure the 2nd link is the standard Race Ready 210 head. I've been hearing about these "new" AFR's for some time now but not seen any mention of them on their site.

Hmm, well it says "Eliminator" right at the top of that page. In fact, it looks like "Eliminator" has been added to the title of all the different sized heads on AFR's main page. I was under the impression that these were going to be a "special edition" type head that would be offered in tandem with their other regular heads, but apparently these have replaced the old heads across the board. It's kind've odd that they don't mention anything about the 8mm valves and lighter springs and retainers in the individual descriptions for each head though.

You're right. It seems as though the only thing that changed is the title on the page. The flow numbers are exactly the same as the old ones.

When Patriot posted a thread about their new SBC heads a while back, Tony from AFR came in the thread and said to expect good things from the upcoming Eliminator heads, but didn't say when they'd be out.

I'm sure AFR would release an identical head with reverse cooling, just like their current lineup.

Sort of besides the point since they haven't released the Eliminator head yet. The regular 210's are offered in LTx.
