Default intake question

so the car of mine is as good as sold, and i'm beginning my next project (lt1 396 solid roller with AFR lt4 210 competition heads)

i have an lt4 intake port matched to the heads from AFR, but i'm not sure if i want to do a fuel injected car.

i guess the real question here is what carbuerated intakes can be run on the lt1 base motors, and which do you think would be best for this application.... i'm not sure if there is any reason i can't run something like a Victor style intake, but that's what i'm looking into unless guided in another direction

thanks for the help

jeff

it's going to be more race oriented....and in my experience, the carb setup out performs the fuel injected at WOT....just my preference....i cut my teeth on old carbuerated sbc motors....it would be easier for me to tune/work on as well

that might be possible....it is port matched to fit the AFR heads, and the port work was done by AFR....so if it sells it will obviously be a little higher then an off the shelf lt4 intake
