Plug and wire weirness

Plug and wire weirness I have always known that the car only had the driverside wires, MSD's at that. The passangerside was said to be TOTALY stock, wires and plugs. I was doing some work on my car today and found NGK wires on my driverside as well. Is running 4 ~40k mile plug and wires and 4 ~140k mile plugs and wires REALLY bad on the car?
