LT1/4 corvette CAI's on F-bodies

Why dont people do that swap instead of the LS1 setup? The C4 setup looks easier. has anyone tried it?

If I recall correctly the angle of the radiator on the LT1 makes this difficult to do. I've see one guy do it, and it honestly didn't look that great.
