Default AI Heads/Cam came in today! Pics inside.

I was like a kid at Christmas this afternoon....Actually I think it may have even been better. When I opened the box my jaw about hit the floor when I saw how nice of a job AI did on the heads. Take a look guys. It's their 180cc package with beehive springs. Cam is a 224/230.

I can't even imagine what they are going to be like when they are on the car. Thing is, part of me would rather put them in a glass case and display them in my living room.

I know how it feels man. Just got mine in last monday after an 8 week wait. I had them do the intake too. It was worth the wait though. Heads and intake both looked amazing. Mine were A LOT shinier than yours though. . Post up some track results after you get those things on.

Advanced Induction requires a core. 1500 is for CNC porting and it looks like he got some beehives too

Sweet heads man. I almost went with them myself, they are a great company. The guys even went so far as to call me and discuss what I was looking for. Really can't wait until my car is done, it has been 2yrs since it was up and running.

Oh and you have waited this long why not display them in the living room for a week or two. A nice conversation piece

Sweet, I got the 180cc w/ new guides, roller rockers, guide plate and pushrods, they do awesome work.

I just finished my build and installed it on sunday, today I had my Cat & Muffler installed and wow it sounds and feels great !!
I can't get on it yet because it only has 20 miles on it but it feels Nice.

I Kinda wish I had them do my intake, I did do it my self It came out Nice I had to make sure i did not go to big on the intake side.

Good luck man.

I AGREE, I seen some better work from AI. All they did was sand blast
the castings. Last thread that posted some AI heads had some real
nice cosmetic work done. Those heads looked AWESOME, But cosmetic's
don't help in the HP department. I am surprised AI gave you the heads like that.

I'll be honest. The pictures do not really do them the justice. They are pretty shiney in person. However, I could care less how they look I want them to perform.

Okay, here is the rundown. The cost my my package was $1,195.00 for the heads with the behive springs and upgraded valves. They threw in a hydraulic roller kit for an extra $480 which included everthing you would need to do a cam upgrade. So I have a little over $1,700.00 into everything including shipping. Not a bad price at all!

Supporting mods are going to be almost full bolt on's. Still don't have a stall yet.

Comp Pro Magnum 1.6's, 224/230 cam, LT4 Extreme Duty Timing Set, Fel-Pro Gaskets, Hardened pushrods, high energy studs, hardened guideplates, new GM water pump. Going to use the opti from out of the car since it was working fine when I took it out. Car has 97k. Bottom end is being refreshed at local Engine Shop. Stock rods, stock crank, forged pistons, all new bearings so when I'm spinning 6400 RPMs on the 150 shot I plan on adding it will be less likely that I will break something.

I also have the CNC 190's. The 180's dont look to be CNC'd. So the reason for is the different in time plus money in each head.
