Default What are ya guys running with bolt-ons only???

I have yet to run my car with my recently added mods. Car is still in the garage. Work/school, mods and extra work takes forever.

So just so I don't get disappointed or overly amazed.

what are you guys running with bolt ons??

I know the ls1 ******* brag about their bolt on times, but whatever.
lets hear some lt1 times.

Thanks

Ed

Havn't ran my '97 yet, but LT1s are extremely easy to get into the 12s with bolt ons.

Uh... It's still kinda slow. At Bandimere in Denver at 5300ft I still run a 14.1 @ 99.5. But I guess my car runs good anyway since I've managed a best bolt-on time of (see sig) in Kansas at like 500ft or so on a 69*F day.

For those that don't feel like reading, I'll sum it up: Intake, Catback, Punched Cat, Gears, PCMForless Tune, Airfoil, TB Bypass, T-Stat, Ignition System & Coil, Underdrive Pulley, and my fans are jumpered to run when the ignition is on.

There have been 3 cars that have run high 11's with bolt ons that I know of. Shon Herron in SC has run low 11.80's with a M6 and Tekprodave has also run low to mid 11.80's with an A4. SAR2K has also ran high 11.80's with an A4. But all of these cars were built with very careful attention to detail and setup to haul *** with only bolt-ons.

I ran 14.1@102 on a 2.4 60 foot last night, no power shifting at 3800+ raceweight with mods in sig (only have a muffler, stock I pipe still). Waiting for tune, tires and lcas and i'll be ready to shoot for 12s!

13.01@106 w/ a cold air, cut out and DR's. Ideal weather conditions though.

w/ shorty headers - 12.7@108

The car ran damn good w/ the original motor.

No, I run a 14.1 @ 99.5 at double your altitude (5300ft) on street tires. If I came to Boise or wherever I'd be trapping over 100mph easy. You have a good 60' because of your tires and that's why you have a decent ET. But if I pulled up next to you on the highway, you'd get pulled bad by a car with only a couple more minor bolt-ons.
