Default new time ok i guess

EDIT: i know this would be better off in the drag strip section but i just wanted the other LT1 guys to know
well i got it to the track and got a new best time ended up with
R/T .508
60ft 2.225
18 E.T. 8.995 MPH 81.65
1/4 E.T. 13.739 MPH 102.04

thing thats killing me 60 ft .... this was the first time i ran a 6 speed at the track i was hitting 2.0's when it was a auto back on the old motor running 13.9's at 100.2MPH..... so i know i got quite a bit more power if i have a 60 ft like that and still take 2 tenths off my 1/4.... if i can get my 60 ft back down to 2 flat or lower i can get into the low 13s maybe get a extremely good run and get a 13 flat and maybe with a miracle a 12.9..... anyway SFC's, LCA's, relocations brackets, and a torque arm are all planned for july so maybe that will help getting off the line.... that and maybe a cam or spray or both depending how much cash i make on my 3 weeks of duty

Congrats on the run. I'm alittle confused though........

If I read it right you have
1.6 RR
LT'S
TRUE DUELS
3.73
CAI

Something seems to be wrong because your timeslip reads just like mine

R/T .515
60ft 2.20
1/8e.t.8.97 mph 81.2
1/4e.t.13.73 mph 103.1

And my mods are
CAI
CUTOUT
3660 RACE WEIGHT

I am looking to run 105/106 with LT's. How heavy is your car? Is longview at a higher elevation temple texas? Please don't take this in a bad way because with your mods I think you should be running 107/108 even with a poor 60ft.

on that one i had it about 2000 RPM cause on the first run i went from 3000 and was sideways halfway through the 1/8th (spun through 2nd and then just let off didnt feel like pushing my luck with 3rd) on the run posted everything went smoothly except for the 60ft ...... its not true duals its a TSP Rumbler catback but im putting cutouts where the ORY meets the headers so ill have true duals when i open them... on the wieght not sure never been anywhere to get it wieghed, i want to though.... we arent sure if the track timing equipment was right though cause on that run i was up agianst a friend (he has a T-Rex cam LS1 high stall) and he only got a 13.0 1/4 mile et at like 104mph and his 60 ft was 1.8.... im going to a different track in the next week or 2 so ill see if it gets any better
EDIT no we are pretty much at sea level

I ran 13.80 @ 100.xx. the extra .07 in ET should not warrant 1-2 mph, which is probably explained by your 60', or the fact yours is an M6. Either way, the timeslip looks dead on for what you have, the car just needs some tire, and suspension components, like you listed. One good launch and u should bust off some mid to low 13s, or grenade a 10 bolt, haha!

Congrats, and Good Luck!

thats what im hoping cept for the rear end grenade lol, the track we were at wasnt hooking very well at all so that was prolly part of the problem to yeah im looking at 315/35 BFG T/A DR's right now... im getting all the suspension stuff listed earlier from tbyrne motorsports already talked to them and it will be going on sometime in july

well i managed to hit a 13.5@ 103 60'ft was 2.0 and 1/8 was 8.7 with moroso cia, exhaust, A4 no stall, drag slicks, but that was in winter now i added a tune and 3.73's and now i hit a 13.4@104 60'ft 1.9 1/8 8.6 but in the 80' degree weather is that good in winter i should knock off about 3-5 tenths

yeah i think with how well it pulled if i can get my 60ft back down to where it was or lower ill definetly be seeing some lower e.t.'s just have to give it another shot .... that and i need to practice launching the manual.... get all my suspension done and get some sticky tires and i think the first thing after that is going to be to start looking into a 12-bolt or 9inch just so i dont have to break it then let it sit while i try to get the money together.... why not go ahead and do it and not have much downtime
