Banging when powerbraking or shifting 2nd
Anybody got any idea what wold make it "Bang" when powerbraking or shifting to second. I can feel it in the floorboard!! Both times it didi it when shifting to second. The first time I powerbraked it and let off right before it shifted, it was loud when it didi shift to second. the second time I turned off a road and got on it trying to burn the tires as i turned off of it, ad I was sliding it shifted to second and "Bang" again. Tranny mount, or torque arm. This is in a totally bone stock 162,000 1995 z28 a4. Thanks for any help.

yep the first time it did that to me i was scared to ****, those tranny mounts are shitty and break. just replace it. around 25 dollars for one. you can probably find one at a auto shop near your house. the tranny mounts are the same ones that have been used for ever by gm
