it's possible, good luck with it. I have Eibach Springs. I would rip Duals off the car if I hit a bump. If you are stock height, it is possible, but it's still close to the ground.

I've got 3 inch true duals. No problems here. I love the way the car sounds
now.

Chris, go to Arizona Dyno Chip in Chandler. They did mine. I have Pacesetter LTs in to a 3" Summit Xpipe kit, into dual 3" Flowtech Purple Hornies.

Order the Xpipe kit and whatever glasspack mufflers you want and just drive your car down there with open headers and Keith will take care of the rest.

yup.. you can do it. I used to have duals w/ hooker LT's. The headers were the lowest point of the exhaust. Pacesetters sit about 3/4 inch closer to the floorboard.

I was under the impression that GMMG made an X pipe Kit ( true duals ) for the LT1.

Yep them purple hornys rock.
I cut mine down, welded O2 bungs in em and bolted them right to the Hooker LTs.
I run an Eibach drag launch kit and lost about 300 pounds off the car and I can pretty much go anywhere I want and not hit the exhaust on anything.

Bassani makes a true-dual kit that can be adapted to the LT1 quite easily. You can also have any competent shop fab it up for you - it ain't cheap either way if you want the pipes going to the bumper over the axle.
