Thats a good race......But most likely the Evo Because AWD....But If the Lt1 is a 6sp thats a good race but depends on the driver.... But over all The Evo would Win

unless you are running slicks have a awesome rear suspension set up, then the Evo is gonna be taking you from a dig, maybe from a roll, that would be close enough to say maybe. it all depends on what the LT1 has and what the Evo has

well i race an EVO and from a rolling start and a dead stop on the rolling start hehehe
i pulled alittle bit we hit 90 mph i was a car ahead

then the dead stop race he got me on the launch well of course and then i when i shifted to 2nd i pulled ahead but only a fender then we don't move they are pretty quick cars

plus i talk to the guy he said he had a few upgrades they were boost controler to 18 PSI and new intercooler.

At my local track the best 60ft ive seen from an 11second EVO is 1.8

They're turds from a roll. I pull away from even slightly modded ones. I can beat stock ones from a dig even with my shitty 60'. They only trap at like 96-99mph stock, right?

Dunno what the stock is, but those things ******* fly here. We have like 4-5 Regular EVOs at the track all in low 12s or High 11s.

To beat one in a LT1 youl need a perfect launch... and alot more skill than the evo driver. Or go hammer his car in while he sleeps and win by default

They really are dogs from anything other than a dig. From a roll, an LT1 will destroy a stock Evo. They lose much more power through the drivetrain, since they are AWD. From a dig, an Evo will rip an LT1, but after about 60MPH the LT1 will start to catch up quickly

id have to say from experience a LT1 will take a evo, i raced one and launched about 1 1/2 cars on him and was in frount the hole time

Dont know from a dig, but i raced an EVO VIII MR from 35-40 roll twice and pulled about 1 1/2 cars on him - we raced till about 90-100. It seemed the faster we went the harder i pulled him. All i have is k&n cone and mufflerless catback. And by the way im a 6spd.

I had an encounter with an evo once, he had a completely stripped interior, no wing on the back, and well, his car didn't sound stock, and my car was misfiring at the time(not real bad, and didn't happen till after 4.5k, but its worth mentioning), and lets just say he did beat me, but I gave him a run for his money(only pulled a 1 car length, don't remember what we went up to though, think maybe a 100, maybe alittle higher, misfire got worse in 4th, when I told him i was basically a stock lt1(catback, fipk and free mods), he looked alittle upset, and all he said was, you gotta be shiting me.

My old A4 took evos from a roll pretty good.

This one rips them a new one on the top end.

don't race those ******* from a dig though.. ouch..

I raced an sti from a dig in my old '94 A4 (catback, 4.10 gears) and he had me by like 2 cars from the launch. We went from a roll and I pulled those two cars on him. He was modded, don't remember what.

If both cars are stock, the LT1 is losing from a stop. I think it could pull out in a 40 punch though.
