Cam Install
I am about to do a cam install and was wondering when installin the cam do u install it with the timing marks at 12 and 6 or 12 and 12 ive heard some people say 12 and 12 and others 12 and 6. Also when adjusting valves how far do u go from vero lash Ive heard quater turn all the way up to 1 whole turn!!!!

I did 12 and 6 and the dots line up right next to each other.
As for the valves. Don't overtighten them. I did that the first time right after the cam was installed. Fired right up and was LOUD. I was impressed but when I drove it, it did not have the power like it should at all. There were more problems associated with it also but ultimately you want to go just a 1/4 turn past zero lash. I would do this by moving it with my fingers until I could feel it grip and then 1/4 turn. Depending on which rockers you have and if they are self-aligning or non self-aligning, will also determine the noise level but it should over all be noisier but a smooth noise and not a "knacking"
