Default LME does awesome work ~ Lil More Progress on PEPPE

All I can say is Brian & Pecos @LME do incredible work, absolutely impressed with their quality & attention to detail on my Callie's solid roller 396. I didn't realize my estimate included AFR 4-bolt main studs (not bolts) same with the heads. They reworked my AFR-210s which now flow better than AFR-227s, Ferrera Super Comp Valves, badass Nextek springs, titanium keepers, yada yada yada, long freaking list. I custom ported my own LT4 intake, was decent but having LME superport it this week like they did the heads. GForce will be throwing it all back together late next week or early following with a BMR Kmember, upper & lower BMR A-arms, BMR TrakPak, Kooks LTs & ypipe (with ss QTP dual 3" cutouts ), then on the dyno she goes. Hood pic isn't my car but the same 3" VFN SS I ordered (here in a couple, along with an SLP LS1 SS spoiler, rebadging & hopefully full paint job.

LME is IMO a top 5 shop in North American at what they do. I have met these guys and seen the amazing work they have done for there customers. I know they also went to S.A.M. in Houston where I attended and Jud the owner of the school holds Brian & Pecos in high regards. Your car looks GREAT and the motor is down right sexy, looks like you will be an LT1 to watch out for on the streets of Houston.

Thank you sir, not sure what she'll run yet, I'm going to remain humble on my rwhp & 1/4 ET expectations in hopes of being pleasantly surprised. Have some ideas but just being patient to wait-n-see.

you know it Bro, keeping the LT1s strong, one Opti at a time. I'm going to have some video of the fireup, dynotune, etc.

I need someone local with a decent mpeg camera better than mine to shoot it for me, I screwed up my camera settings pushing buttons I shouldn't have been .

That is nuts... money well spent IMO, hope it turns out to be better than expected. Vids when you're done... obviously

I've never heard that, there are several advantages to going solid, but that does not mean there is anything wrong with hyd by no means. Some of the benefits are things like spinning up to a higher RPM (along with an aftermarket PCM) like 7500 or higher, no valve float problems, faster valve open/close ramps based on the solid roller cam designs, things like that.
