Default WHat changes do i need for a LT1 conversion?

Well guys I have a 82 camaro with a 350 shortblock but i really dont want to keep it so im thinking about getting me an LT1 block to put on it. What are the neccesary parts to make this conversion? please help cause I almost got the engine and need to know.. thanks

the engine electronics... all wiring harnesses motor mounts.. DOnt know about your tranny.. but probably will bolt right up? Somone correct me on this.

Ah i guess i read the thread wrong, i thought you were wanting to convert your small block to an lt1.

No, he wants to replace it with a LT1. The motor mounts will line up, no problems there. What kind of tranny? The 700R4 and the 4L60E are identical when it comes to mounting. You just need the Computer and the Wiring. The LT1 Radiator is slightly different, you should be able to fit one in that Camaro.

You can always run a carb on the LT1 and an old school style distributor

Yup, summit sells the intake for it. That will get rid of the hassle of the Fuel Injection, and the Optispark.
