My Lt1 drag times
So last year i ran a 13.9 at 102 with a 2.2 60ft, this year i got long tube headers, madz28 tune, electric cutout, new tires Hankook k104's to rplace my bald bfgoodrich's,and a airlift air bag. My car also has 17" firehawk rims and a ebay cold air intake. So I ran a 13.5 at 106 and high 2.3 60ft with the headers tune and cutout. I dont know why my 60ft's are worse but the air bag did stop the wheel hop. Since the drag strip I have intalled my Adj BMR torque arm and set it at -3 degrees, and purchased some BMR lower control arm relo brackets. I also have a set of stock rims im looking to put some bfgoodrich drag radials on. So do you guys think i have enough mph to get into high to mid 12's after getting my 60 ft down. Also is my car on average for an intake and full exhaust. Thank alot
-Jon

Might need more gear to get you out of the pit faster. Now you running a mid 12 might be possible. Some more suspension couldnt hurt. IE QA1 shocks and K-member for some weight reduction. Thats 33 lbs there

You'll hit 12s. Look into 4.10s as your next mod and you'll be happy as ****
Might want to consider working on suspension a little more (springs/shocks) to help put that power to the ground.

now do you think the front shocks are real important becuase i know its a pita to change them, I was thinking some drag shocks in the rear, becuase i want koni' s for ride and everything but when i go to the strip i can just bolt in some rear drag shocks the front on the other hand would not be easy to change. This is my dd so I dont want to perminitly drive around a car that can't corner, but when i got to the track i dont care thats why i gut my interior for all posible weight loss. Thanks for the input guys, I am going to ship out my 4.10's today lol i bought them with the intent of putting them in but put them up for sale and they sold for a good price so i gotta let them go I was already paid for them. This kinda sucks.

Jditlfm, if you get some adjustable shocks you don't have to worry about changing them. When you go to the drag strip to can adjust them for a straight line and when you leave you can just adjust them back. I have double adjust QA1s on my Z28 and they we're probly one of the best mods i'd none.

O ya i spin like a **** all the way through 1st and most way through second if i step on it. I have some throttle control so i usualy step into it, rather just mash it, but with the open cutout its just so f***in loud it's hard for me to judge my throttle control to me spinning. I was realy wanting the bfgoodrichs because i can get them for $297 shipped to my door of tire rack and MT's are $344 shipped. I know a couple of people that love the bfgoodrichs so i think im gunna go with them, I refuse to go back to the track without drag radials, relocation brackets, and my adjustible torque arm that is already on. I want 12's so bad....

went to the track again and put the stock size rims and tires on, Got it to hook once out of 6 passes. I did a 4k slip then dump. I got a 2.1 60 ft and got a 13.2 at 107. I just gotta fix my intake elbow becuase the epoxed silencer sucked into the throttle body again on one of my passes. The other passes were 13.4's at 107 with a 2.3 60 ft exept the time my silencer sucked in i ran a 14.00. I got relo brackets im gunna put on next and mabey a manual fan switch.
