ok so my gf's 97 ta's starter went out today and besides going and ripping it out and finding my bullit racing starter off my lt1(wotn be using it for a while) will work on it....so question is is a 97 6 speed starter the same as an 4l60e lt1 starter???

it should work...I did not have to get a new starter when I changed tranny's
took out a T56 installed a 700r4

Theyre the same for both M6's and A4's.

Where did you get your bullit racing starter? How much is it and what brand? My GM oem rebulit only lasted a month.
