Default Where is the low coolant sensor?

I bought a 93 z28 a while back and the low coolant light flickers on and off once in a while. Coolant level is fine, he had it checked out before I bought it and the dealership said it was a bad coolant sensor. I raised the car up today since I figured it was at the bottom of the coolant reserve but had no luck finding it. Where is this thing at? I want to just unplug it and jump the 2 wires and call it a day because the dealership said the part is no longer available.

The 2 wires go to the Low Coolant Sensor Module right below the Radiatio cap. I would figure that to be the Sensor, and how it reads the Coolant level is inside the Radiator, a seperate part.

Those things are always messed up. I think It might've been a factory defect. Mine always says low and never is and not counting you I know 2 other cases just like that.

mine is doing that right now too. Light is always on even though coolant level is fine. The dealership just checked my coolant system too and said everything was fine. There is definately something messed up about those things in our cars.

If you don't mind, just unplug it. Same problem here but I just unhooked the sensor.

Yah if you unplug it the light won't come on at all and it doesn't screw anything but if you want I just bought a new sensor from the auto parts store for i think 38 bucks and put it in and it works fine again.

Where did you get your sensor, because Autozone didn't carry them when I went there.

I unplugged it today and no light anymore. It's a few inches under the radiator cap on the passenger side of the radiator. Now there's no dummy light if coolant really is low, but I can live with that. I just assumed it to be on the reserve tank somewhere so I was just looking in the wrong place altogether. Thanks!
