Default Motor not together yet need quick answers..

on the crank pulley/alt pulley is it a good idea on a street car.. I got about ehh 700-800 rms worth of audio running to.. or should I just do crank and leave the alt??

i did the crank and no alt...you could invest in a capasitor, or get a bettter battery and leave the alt alone...crank pulley aint worth it, spend money somewhere else and dont worry about your charging

ya i got a duralast gold just brought it by autozone (previous owner killedi t a few times it was made 08/05 though) anyways its cold crank is 890 (better then rated) and its volts where 12.8 so its good.. i also have a cap but the subs are olny taking 600 for both (not doing 2k rms like my last car)

DO the alt to you will thank your self later If interested i may know some one selling there setup. No SFI Dampers with small pullies

**** no SFI?? makes me worry.. this is a brand new engine my current harmonic balancer has a few tears on the sides that hold the belt (probably 1-2) where it was hit with a hammer mechanic said it might make the idle alittle rougher but not much u guys think i should replace??

because what if the rubber fails?? isnt the SFI there to protect? ya the harmonic thing is rough around the edges..

If you're gonna get a new dampner, go with Fluidampr. And if you want to know more about SFI, go here.

No thats for a gen 1. You can find them on Ebay for our cars for about 90
