Default Tranny mount

Someone told me if I installed the ES poly mount and not replace the motor mounts, I could crack the case on my transmission...I know that you can do this with solid mounts on one or the other but poly?

I dont believe what he is saying but I wanted to talk to the "pro's" here..

I need to replace my 126K mile stocker since I broke it the other day.

Thanks

Other than no flex in the engine to transmission section, i think it will be alright. There shouldnt be that much flex to crack a case.

It wont do anything to the transmision, but I wouldn't even use the ES poly tranny mount. I had one one my car for a couple of years that vibrated everthing. It got worse when I put in poly motor mounts. Then my brother told me to put in a LS1 tranny mount. It works great very little vibrations now even with the poly motor mounts. I'd say just get an LS1 mount.
