how can i tell if i got a good port job or i got shafted

First of all how does it look? post some pic's..
ive seen some hacked up looking ports flow well. and ive seen some very nice ones flow not so well
imo looks arnt a great way to tell

dry or wet? lol.. flow isn't everyting if there are cliff's and valley's it's pretty much a given that it's not optimal..

if it feels like amber waves of grain then you are got f*cked. Not port matched then you got taken, if there is any holes then you got taken. If you can press on the outside walls and you see the aluminum flexing ou got f*ucked. Just a number of ways that they could be bad. Flow #'s are not everything but they are a good part mainly for selling heads, but cross sectional flow and how it carries the numbers throughout from low,mid, and high are also very important.
