non self adjusting rockers/giudplate questions

non self adjusting rockers/giudplate questions I JUSt got doen putting in my guide plates. I fired her up..adjusted the rockers....but I hear a loud ticking noise. more than likely the pushrods tapping the sides of the guidplates. I bought the gm ones form thunder racing.
is there a way to quiet down the ticking? I dont have my valve covers on yet..I still have to modify one to fit around these rockers.
is there a way????????????? please let me know.
PS...thanks for the help on my other question..the rockers are perectly straight now.
