Default fuel rail

Where are some good places to look for aftermarket fuel rails? Can't seem to find them.

I'm really just looking for them for the performance value. I'm getting what seems like fuel pressure decrease when my car warms up, so I'm going to check the pressure at the rails first, but thought it wouldn't hurt to start looking now for some better performance fuel rails(if there were any).

Yea, never heard of anything as far as bigger rails. Take them apart, and clean them out, might be some crap clogged in them.

Almost exactly the same engine here too... Except my heads are ported stock castings with a ported stock manifold.

Anyway, the i.d. of your rails is plenty enough for about anything... But the line sizes going into, crossing over, and out are too small.

According to the math, you need -8an line to feed them, and they should be plumbed in parallel (with a y-block) to prevent one rail from starving out.

So what I did was completely dissasemble them (remove all hard lines, cross-over tube, front end plugs... One of the hard lines and both end plugs will require cutting to remove.), and have -8an fitting welded to the rear end of each. Then you need to fabricate new end plugs and some bungs to have welded on the front end of each.
The bungs are for an exit from each rail so that you can plumb them in parallel. Im running 3/8npt x -6an 90* fittings pointing rearwards on the front of each rail.
So basically the fuel enters the back of each rail after a y-block, then exits the top/front of each rail and heads to my Aeromotive Regulator.

Here's the el-cheapo diagram:

-8an feed--->y-block--<2X fuel rails>-->Regulator---6an return-->Tank

I have two -8an lines connecting the y-block to the rails and two -6an lines connecting each rail to the regulator.

your fuel rails are not the problem... a buddy of mines 95 turbo TA and on the dyno he put down 700hp but the fuel pump couldnt keep up.. so we are doing duel in tank pumps... but he isnt done yet...

If you've got fuel pressure problems, did you check your regulator?

Update...It was my left 02 sensor that was sluggish. I replaced both o2 sensors tonight and I think the problem is solved.
