Default Cam Help

I Have A Friend The Has An Lt1 N He Wants To Put A Cam In...the Cam Size Is 225 234 505 530 113 He Wants To Know If Its To Big For A Stock Bottom End....n He Wants To Go With Nitrouse
He Also Wants To Know If He Has To Change His Rockers?

It would work. I would feel unsafe with stock stamped rockers and that lift some guys have found the slots to be short and bottom out on the stud potentially snapping them, other don't. The springs are 100% required.

almost positve you'll need new springs and all the other valvetrain parts to go with them. I think crane has a cheap kit you can buy, or the hotcam kit if that will work for your lift. Tell him to check that out instead of that cam even.

But Now Is This Cam Too Big For A Everday Drive Car..n Just Headers???

no it will be fine as a DD IMO

But hey my cam is 234/242 .538/.558 112 and I drive mine with a big stall everyday

Should be fine as a DD, dunno about autos though so don't know if you'll need a stall or gears for it.
