Default LE2 h&c installed, did not degree cam, any forseeable problems?

I did not set the cam to intake centerline of 107 or whatever the recommendation from Lloyd and Bret is. Will this screw things up?

The car was tuned by Dan at FLP, and it pulls like none other. Scared me a few times.

If I go back in there and degree the cam to the proper specs, will I gain any more hp and tq? If I leave it alone, will it be allright?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As long as you lined the dots up on the timing chain it should be fine.

Yes I did do that.

I've been reading on CZ28.com and I have found a lot of helpful tips there.

Hope this helps others...

Good link. I remember that thread when it was started. Its not necessary to degree the cam, but it lots of people recommend it. It sounded like you installed everything already, so I wouldnt take it back apart yet. See how it runs and if you are down on power, you may consider double checking.

I am a little down on power, made 400 rwhp and 365 rwtq. Both Bret and Lloyd said I should see higher numbers than this, but who knows. Ill have to go back and take the timing cover off and just check the cam for the time being. If its off by a lot, it will be a winter project.

Thanks everyone!
