Default Feels like it's holding back under WOT!

Hey guys i just got the car about 3 weeks ago and it feels like under WOT it lags a little. It feels like it holds back and doesn't pull to it's full potential throughout the RPM band. It does it in EVERY gear but it's intermittant. Somedays it's fine, others it really feels bad. I'd say more when it's warm out though. It's a '96 Z28, 6 speed Mods, 3.73 gears, custom tuned computer, pacesette long tubes, offroad y-pipe, and SS muffler, Moroso intake, i belive a bigger throttle body i believe that's it. Anyway, previous owner changed the plugs, Taylor wires, and fluids about 5K miles ago, he said. He didn't change the optispark on it i guess though. Should i just change the plugs anyway or do you guys think it may be the opti? Is there a way to test it at all? I was wonderin' if you guys could help me out. Thanks a bunch guys~Cole~

you could be getting lots of knock retard. or it could be something simple like a bad fuel filter.

i hooked it up to my Palm Scanner and it says i'm not getting any knock retard. Also i changed the fuel filter with ACDelco about 2 weeks ago so it's not that. Another thing i thought was pump going bad or the Opti?

is it easier to do plugs on a car with pacesetter LT's? It looks like it'd be easy but i haven't really dug into it. I'm handy with doing this stuff so i'll figure it out i'm sure. My buddy and i both had Thunderbird SC's and the book and average guy gives them 6 hours to do them and i had them down to 26 minutes. Pretty good time chop off.
