Default new compression ratio ???

well guys im just curious what having flat-top pistons would do to my compression ratio ...... this is i believe the only thing i have done that would effect it and im curious what it would be now .... its around 10.5 to 1 stock right

Factory pistons are flat tops.

well then i guess it wouldnt be much but mine dont have any relief valves in them completely flat at least thats what i thought was put in, would that increase it at all

what are you doing? just replacing pistons?
your going to need valve reliefs..

no its already been done i had the motor rebuilt about 2.5 months ago ..... what exactly do i need the relief valves for though

its so the valve doesnt smash into the pistons.

yeah im going to .... they knew what they were doing but im afraid they may have gotten me for 80 bucks on the pistons ...... i didnt know as much then as i did now and i may have let them get the better of me ..... oh well i aint to worried about it only 80 bucks ..... there work was good and the motor is stronger than before they may have just had a salesman get the better of me before i learned what i know now ......
