Default i need a motor rebuilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know a cheap place to get my motor rebuilt to all OEM (stock) parts cause mine has 140,000 miles on it and i just blew a cylender? i have a 1996 lt1 trans am. i plan on slapin on a lt4 conversion kit when it gets done. And i was wondering if anyone knows ware i can get a air-conditionar condenser? mine is out and it is hot as hell

Did you blow the Head Gasket, or something worse..

Just buy the parts and rebuild it yourself. You can purchase a master rebuild kit through summit and do the whole motor yourself. But if you are going to go that way new heads and upper end is a good idea that way there are ZERO miles on the motor when finished.

put in somthign better than stock stuff, put in some forged rods and pistons at least,
since your doing all the work of a rebuild you may as well spend a few hundred bucks more for better parts.

i blew a spark plug at first and then a crack sum how appeared in my piston

if you're interested, i have a complete turnkey 355 i'm selling....just rebuilt about 15k miles ago, cc305 cam and slightly worked heads....made 336 to the wheels is a hot day/moderate tune. i'd take 2k and work shipping with you.
i'm parting most of the car so i can build it into a race car

You got to be running hot to crack a Piston..
I have to play with a blown Head Gasket when I get back.

i'm asking 2000 for the motor....and shipping would be through a freight company....i'd say 2200 shipped and i'll cover what the rest of the shipping will be

i'm in kentucky by the way, and could probablly have the motor on it's way by the end of next week
